Why It Matters

The Addison Guarantee

In excavation, the work you don't see - proper drainage, correct grade, compacted soil - determines whether a project stands for decades or fails in years. Our process isn't procedural theater. It's how we protect your investment.

Your Property, Protected

Rushing an excavation or cutting corners on drainage creates problems that don't show up until years later - foundation cracks, sinkholes, and flooded basements. Our process exists to protect your property long after we're gone.

No Surprises, Ever

Every cost, timeline, and material decision is documented and agreed upon before equipment rolls onto your land. If something changes, you hear about it immediately - not after the fact on an invoice.

Certified & Insured

Blue Card certified, underground utility licensed, and backed by $3M in liability insurance. We carry the credentials so you carry the peace of mind.

Done Right, Guaranteed

We stand behind every grade, every cut, and every cubic yard of material we move. If the site drainage doesn't perform exactly as designed, we come back and make it right.

What Clients Say

"I've worked with contractors who just show up and start digging. Addison was completely different. Before they touched a shovel, I understood exactly what they were going to do, how long it would take, and what it would cost. No surprises - just a clean, professional operation from start to finish."

Common Questions

Process FAQ

Not necessarily. Before work begins, we do a detailed walkthrough with you so you understand exactly what will happen and when. From there, we provide daily progress updates - calls, texts, or photos - so you're always informed without needing to stand in the mud. That said, you're always welcome on-site anytime.

We do. Our team coordinates all required city and county permits before breaking ground. We also initiate 811 utility locate requests to ensure underground lines are marked before any digging begins. You don't need to make a single call.

Our estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Material and fuel prices can fluctuate, so we honor the quoted price within that window. If your project timeline extends beyond 30 days, we'll re-confirm pricing with you before scheduling.

It happens on excavation projects, and experienced operators know how to handle it. If we encounter a surprise - unexpected bedrock, a buried tank, or saturated soil - we stop, document it, and contact you immediately with options and updated cost implications before proceeding. No one gets blindsided.

It depends on the scope. A residential grading or pond project might take 2-5 days of active work. Larger land clearing or infrastructure projects can run 1-3 weeks. After the site visit, your written estimate will include a realistic project timeline so you can plan accordingly.

It means the finished elevation and drainage slope are verified with laser equipment to exact tolerances - not eyeballed. Water should flow away from structures and toward drainage points precisely as designed. If it doesn't, we return and correct it at no additional cost.
